Important ormolu and patinated clock decorated with a figure of Mars, holding in one hand a parchment annotated "Marathon" and in the other his sword. He is seated on his throne with lions' feet containing the mechanism. The large shield on his side forming the dial. The base is in burnished bronze decorated with a laurel garland, the base with scrolls and shells. The dial signed "Ritter Aîné à Rouen". The movement is marked "médaille d'or Paris 1827".
