S.l.n.d. 1864-1865], 307 pp. in-folio (28.8 x 19.5 cm), in sheets, central fold, traces of dust and handling on some leaves. ALMOST COMPLETE MANUSCRIPT OF THE SKY PUBLISHED IN 1867. Professor of physics from 1849 to 1870, first in Ajaccio, then in Avignon, Jean-Henri Fabre wrote, from 1860 onwards, didactic works concerning chemistry, physics, astronomy, mathematics and natural sciences. The present manuscript includes 24 lessons (out of 25 published), numbered from 1 to 15 and from 17 to 25. They have been copied mostly on double numbered sheets, the numbering being specific to each lesson. The names of the typographers have been noted, as well as the number of lines.
