FABRE (Jean-Henri). [Physics class]. Autograph manuscript. S.l.n.d. ca. 1870], 156 pp. in-folio (28.8 x 19.5 cm), in sheets, erasures and corrections, central fold, traces of dust and handling on some leaves. PHYSICS COURSE LARGELY DEVOTED TO ELECTRICITY. It corresponds to the 3rd, 4th and 5th parts of a physics course on electricity, sound and light respectively. The pagination is discontinuous from 468 to 836. To compose it, Fabre used older manuscripts that he collected after having cancelled their numbering: if the part "Electricity" has no date, on the other hand the part "Light" is dated February 15, 1869 on the last page. The different chapters are as follows: [3rd part]. Chapter I. Electricity developed by friction (pp. 468-474). - II. Electricity developed by influence (pp. 475-483, 487). - III. Electric machine (pp. 488-497). - IV. Condensed electricity (pp. 498-500, 507-509). - V. Effects of electricity (pp. 510-518). - V. EFFECTS OF ELECTRICITY (PP. 510-518). Atmospheric electricity (pp. 519-534). - VII. ATMOSPHERIC ELECTRICITY (PP. 519-534). Magnetism (p. 544). - VIII. MAGNETISM (P. 544). Electricity developed by chemical actions (p. 559). - IX. Battery (pp. 565-567, 569, 570). - X. Effects of the battery (pp. 575-578, 581, 582, 584, 585). - XI. Electro-dynamics (p. 597). - X. BATTERY EFFECTS (PP. 575-578, 581, 582, 584, 585). Electro-magnetism (pp. [601], 602, 610). - XIII. ELECTRO-MAGNETISM (PP. [601], 602, 610). Electrical induction (pp. 620-623). - XIV. Thermoelectricity (pp. 624-637). - Part 4]. Chap. I. Origin and Propagation of Sound (p. 646). - CHAP. I. ORIGIN AND PROPAGATION OF SOUND (P. 646). Mode of sound propagation (pp. 647-656). - CHAP. I. ORIGIN AND PROPAGATION OF SOUND (P. 646). Sound reflection (pp. 657-661). - IV. Qualities of sound (p. 669). - V. Transverse string vibrations. Musical intervals (pp. 673, 676-679, 679 bis, 679 ter, 679 quater, 680, 681). - VI.
