Baillière et fils, undated [circa 1840]. 2 volumes in-8 (one volume of text and one volume of plates); Havana wedge-shaped half-basane, spine with ornamented nerves. (Bound in contemporary style). The present copy offers in the text volume the following genres : Mitres, Volutes, Marginelles, Rochers, Ranelles, Roulettes, and Struthiolaires. The iconography is gathered here in a volume decorated with 165 finely colored and gummed plates: 34 for the Mitres, 52 for the Volutes, 13 for the Marginelles, 46 (out of 47, pl. 1 is missing) for the Rochers, 15 for the Ranelles, 3 for the Roulettes, and 2 for the Struthiolaires. Binding rubbed, good condition inside.
