Opium pipe with portraits of Nassereddin Shah Stove in enamelled metal, brass, wooden shaft Iran, 19th century, Qadjahr period The stove is a re-use of a small vase, marked with an inscription stamped in a heart underfoot, transformed into an opium pipe. It is decorated with gold enamel and polychrome decoration of two portraits of Nassereddin Shah Qajar (r. 1848-96). The long flared stem is made of wood.
