Three ghalian - Lot 137
Three ghalian tanks South Indian brass, probably Deccan Two brass tanks, ovoid in shape, decorated with gadroons in relief evoking flower petals. The third is made of metal with a floral decoration engraved in dotted lines, the tip forming a flower bud. A brass ghalian mouthpiece with a screw thread in the lower part is joined to it, and a silver ghalian mantel with floral decoration. A brass huqqa mouthpiece and stove, India, 19th century, is attached. A piriform gadrooned huqqa mouthpiece, decorated with friezes engraved with stylised vegetal motifs, and with a flared neck. The stove with engraved decoration. Two silver statuettes of deities, India, 19th century H_23 and 35 cm (two in brass, ovoid in shape, decorated with gadroons in relief evoking flower petals) are attached. H_14 cm (the third in metal).
