TIBET, 19th century. Two Tibetan boxes Bronze with openwork and engraved decoration These boxes were usually intended to hold a porcelain tea bowl or an offering bowl. One has a full-surface engraved decoration of vegetal motifs, endless knots and auspicious signs, and on the lid a dragon's head. The second has an openwork decoration of spiral scrolls, with a medallion inscription on the lid. H_8.5 cm D_15.5 cm H_7 cm D_7,5 cm
