Important Huqqa Silver embossed in part gold India, probably Hyderabad, late 19th century or circa 1900 This important silver huqqa has an abundance of floral decoration in repoussé and gold on the reliefs. The wide base richly decorated with bouquets consists of a base on which the water tank rests. A double chimney with chiselled decoration is fixed on the tank. One of the fireplaces is crowned by an imposing hearth with an abundant decoration in four parts, adorned with long chains ending with fish-shaped pendants, and topped by a lid adorned with a bird. A long sinuous pipe with chiseled floral decoration is attached to the second mantel, ending in a lion's head spitting out a horned quadruped. H_93 cm 4,590 grams
