Including the rare large map of the Nouvelles découvertes au Nord de la mer du Sud, engraved by Philippe Buache. In first state, it is addressed Quay de l'Horloge in Paris (it will be republished in 1780), with colored outlines and decorated with two cartouches representing the inhabitants of Kamchatka and Louisiana (50 x 66 cm - tears at some folds without missing). - BUACHE. One f. missing opposite the first title page. Titles underlined in color. Stains, stains, foxing on the maps. Binding rubbed, very damaged, top cover missing.
