French school of the late 18th century. Portrait of a woman with turban and tricolor outfit. Red strapless dress with blue-white striped sleeves, breasts visible mid-body from three-quarter left. Circular miniature on ivory. (crack on the right, cracks, small gaps). D_5.7 cm. Gilded brass frame. D_6.3 cm. Gross weight: 22 grams. Provenance: coll. Paul Fourché (1840-1922) then by descent.
