Christiaen VAN POL (Berkenrode, near Harlem, 1752 - Paris, 1813). Basket of flowers, two peaches and a nest on a marble entablature. Miniature on vellum signed lower right: V. Pol. D_7 cm (view), one stain at top. On the lid of a black drageoir in varnished composition, the inside of the lid lined with tortoiseshell. D_8.4 cm, H_2.1 cm.
