Circular ivory box lined with speckled tortoiseshell, the lid decorated with a miniature painted in fixed under glass depicting a still life with flowers and fruit (peaches, pores, grapes), on a stone entablature.
Unreadable red monogram at bottom.
Circa 1800-1820.
(Peeling around the edges).
D_4.7 cm (as seen), for the miniature.
H 2.4 cm D_7.4 cm, for the box.
Gross weight: 69 grams.
Provenance: coll. Paul Fourché (1840-1922) then by descent.
