Box in tortoiseshell powder composition with striated decoration, tortoiseshell rabbet, the lid adorned with a miniature on ivory depicting a woman in a blue dress seated in a yellow sofa.
On the right is an apocryphal signature: "Mosnier 1783".
H_2.4 cm D_6.4 cm, for the box, (small chips at the edge of the base).
D_5.3 cm, for the miniature, (at sight).
Gross weight: 50 grams.
Provenance: coll. Paul Fourché (1840-1922) then by descent.
