This chest of drawers can be compared with the work of François Garnier, received as Master in 1742. François Garnier (received master in 1742) was a Parisian master cabinetmaker and merchant, who owned a large store on rue du Faubourg Saint-Antoine. He employed numerous apprentices and journeymen to design beautifully crafted furniture.
