Relic of the Holy Cross, assembled in a silver and vermeil cross, and preserved in a case. The cross dates from the 17th or 18th century. H_11 cm D_4 cm. Gross weight: 66.25 grams, 950°/00. Several documents are attached, attesting to its veracity in the 19th and early 20th centuries. Provenance: for the oldest relic, probably ours, Father Reverend Viette, confessor to Henriette of France, Queen of England. First abbess of Saint Nicolas de Verneuil abbey. Abbé Gamble, chaplain at the Ecole des Roches.
