The chairs have openwork backs decorated with palms and flowers.

Fabric upholstery and tapestry not homogeneous.
These chairs are not stamped, but can be attributed to Jacob Frères.
An identical chair, not lacquered, is in the collections of the Mobilier National under GMT-1528-002.
