PIERRE PAULIN (1927-2009) DESIGNER & PUBLISHER UNDER LICENSE FROM MOBILIER NATIONAL "Rosace" also known as "Élysée" the model originally designed in [1971] for the Fumoir in the private apartments of Claude and Georges Pompidou, Palais de l'Élysée, the edition initiated around 1972-1973. Coffee table; can be fitted with a light system in the center. The base made of hot-bent and glued methacrylate sheets. The top in glass; the rim finished in polished joint. Early 1970s edition. H_31 cm D_90 cm Condition of use, scratches on base and top, rubbing on base, yellowing of glue. Provenance: Private collection; acquired by the current owners in the mid-1970s.
