Pair of piston dueling pistols. Overall length 39 cm, octagonal barrel 25.5 cm. Inside diameter 13mm, rifling. Lock signed Lepage in Paris, finely chased. Mechanism to be revised. No. 1 in gold on the breech and barrel. Embossed ebony stock with a slight lack of silver wire decoration and a crack. No. 2 in gold on the breech and barrel. Embossed ebony stock with slightly missing wire decoration. Chased metal fittings. Napoleon III period.
