CARTIER (Max). Max Cartier. Galerie de la Salle, Saint-Paul de Vence, no date (circa 1987). An in-8 volume with printed cover. Enriched with a drawing (mixed technique) with autograph dispatch signed "Pour mon ami David Amitiés". Provenance: former David Beccaria collection, Nice. David Beccaria ran an ice-cream shop at 2 Cours Saleya, frequented by artists, particularly those of the Ecole de Nice. An enthusiastic and highly regarded artist, he built up an important collection of works by his contemporaries.
