Locked in the caverns of time,
Still uncertain of the journey of its mummified limbs,
The blind bird seeks in the shadows
The reflection of his thought, refuge of defeat.
Crushing with its heavy claws,
Love and ruin underfoot,
He finds only a scent,
A familiar scent,
A scent already breathed in the light.
Youth desperate for life,
Crying out for a premature end,
Beating with mutilated wings,
Howling at the infirmity of broken bones,
And breathing the burning pain of light.
Under the dark eye of the door,
The active fighters of a living death
Don't want to see.
They know...
Eternity will never change".
