SALE MAINTAINED By decision of Thursday August 29, the French Minister of Culture has classified this bell as a Historic Monument. That all servitudes linked to this classification apply to this bell, first and foremost its definitive exportation. Potential buyers are duly informed Thursday August 29. Rare and exceptional bronze bell with frieze decoration, 4 bell ringers, with the inscription SANCTE FRANSCIS... ORA PRO NOBIS M DC XL IIII (Saint Francis, pray for us, 1644) 17th century. Presented on a wooden frame. H_78 cm D_68 cm. SOFEMI has drawn up an estimate of 2,680 euros (excl. VAT) to remove the bell and its frame and place them below the tower. The cost of removal will be borne by the purchaser. The service is to be carried out by a company, either SOFEMI or one approved in advance by the auction house.
