Black dial with applied hour-markers and Arabic numerals, signed by both houses and marked "Fifty Fathoms - Rotomatic Incabloc". Back numbered 17098. Functional automatic movement (not guaranteed). D_35 mm Attached bracelet, light scratches on caseback, polishable. Note: The first Blancpain Fifty Fathoms model was created in 1953. It was presented at BaselWorld in 1954, one year before the Rolex Submariner. An agreement signed in 1954 between Blancpain and Lip authorized Lip to market Blancpain watches through its 2,000 sales outlets. This distribution agreement ceased in 1957.
