OMEGA Compteur Acier Brillant. Hand-wound steel counter. Round steel case, smooth bezel, internal graduated scale, flattened round push-button, fluted crown, round bezel, clipped back. White dial, black railroad minute track, blued central chrono baton hand, minute totalizer counter at 12 o'clock going up to 15 minutes. Movement: hand-wound mechanical. Caliber 5410 7 jewels - Numbered 1365206 (circa 1953). Dial and movement signed. Case dimensions: 50 mm. Despite its substantial production of watches and clocks for civilian use, Omega has also made a name for itself thanks to a significant output of chronometers and chronographs for sports and industrial use. This model is designed for sports enthusiasts, with its visible Arabic numerals and easy-to-read chemin de fer minute track. These chronographs were used between the 30s and 50s.
