OMEGA Chrono Counter - Reference MG 6306. Hand-wound vermiculated steel counter. Round black vermiculated steel case, black vermiculated bezel, internal graduated scale, round push-piece, fluted crown, screw-down caseback. Black dial with white border, black and white painted Arabic numeral markers, black checkerboard minute track, white central chrono baton hand, white painted minute totalizer counter at 12 o'clock going up to 15 minutes, painted logo. Movement: hand-wound mechanical. Caliber 8001A 7 jewels - Numbered 2922656 (circa 1969). Dial and movement signed. Case size: 54 mm. Despite its substantial production of watches and clocks for civilian use, Omega has also made a name for itself with a large number of chronometers and chronographs for sports and industrial use. This model is designed for sportsmen and women, notably for swimming, skiing, etc. The surface treatment on this batch protects the chronograph from temperature variations.
