OMEGA Seamaster ChronoQuartz Albatros - Reference 196.0052. Hybrid watch with analog and digital quartz display. Rectangular steel case, smooth bezel, fluted crown, round pushers, screw-down caseback engraved in medallion format with the Seamaster logo and seahorse and with the Montreal Olympic Games logo. Black dial, with two superimposed digital counters on the left, indicating hours, minutes, seconds and 1/100th of a second. Right: analog dial with white-painted hour markers and baton minute track, white baton hour and syringe minute hands with luminescent paint highlights, date window at 3 o'clock, painted logo. Movement: analog and digital quartz winding. Caliber 1611 - Numbered: 40103159 (circa 1977). Dial, case and movement signed. Integrated Omega steel bracelet with Omega folding clasp - Reference 1277/212. Case dimensions: 34 x 47 mm. With instructions for use. Launched in 1974 for the Montreal Olympics, the Seamaster ChronoQuartz is equipped with the 1611 Albatros caliber, considered the first hybrid caliber. It features a conventional analog dial with hands, and a digital LCD module. This makes it one of the rare timepieces to have opted for a hybrid display.
