Released in 1957 as part of the Professional trilogy alongside the Speedmaster and Railmaster, this Seamaster 300 is the first true diver's watch in the range. Offering a myriad of water-resistant watches, this watch introduced Omega's rotating bezel for dive and decompression times, the imposing setting crown and, above all, certification of resistance to a depth of 200 meters. Tests at the time could only simulate diving conditions down to 200 meters, but Omega guaranteed it for 300 meters.
