Steel tonneau case, smooth bezel, fluted crown, screw-down caseback with Seamaster medallion logo with seahorse.
White dial, applied grey baguette hour-markers enhanced by a dot of patinated luminescent paint at their tips, painted black baton minute track, grey baton hands with patinated luminescent paint, grey central baton seconds, day window in French and date at 3 o'clock.
Movement: electronic tuning fork.
Calibre 1260 Mosaba 12 jewels certified Chronometer - Numbered 36890387
(circa 1973).
Case, dial and movement signed.
Case dimensions: 38 x 49 mm.
Integrated Omega steel bracelet with Omega folding clasp.
"No bigger than an aspirin tablet", a slogan we used to find in advertisements, referring to the size of the battery required for these diapason calibers.
Max Hetzel, the inventor of this type of movement, worked for Omega and developed a series of tuning fork calibers until the brand had the know-how to create high-frequency quartz movements, with coils vibrating 300 times per second, hence the name F300HZ.
