OMEGA Chronostop Date - Reference 146.009. Steel bracelet chronograph with manual winding. Steel tonneau case, brushed bezel, round push-piece, fluted crown, screw-down back with protective wax. Blue dial, applied grey baguette hour markers with luminescent paint dot at the ends, painted white baton minute track, white baton hands with luminescent paint highlights, central chronograph hand with white arrow, date window at 3 o'clock, applied logo. Movement: hand-wound mechanical. Calibre 920 17 jewels - Numbered 28867848 (circa 1969). Case, dial and movement signed. Case dimensions: 34 mm. Rice-grain steel bracelet with Omega folding clasp. Reference 1037/150. A range with sober shapes, bright colors and an anchoring in the 70s, a decade we've already described as the apogee of watch design. Aimed at a young, sports-loving public, the Chronostop was launched in 1967 and enjoyed considerable publicity, notably by equipping certain teams of timekeepers for certain sporting competitions. It is equipped with a caliber based on a robust and precise Lemania movement.
