Certainly the most legendary chronograph in the history of watchmaking, the Speedmaster is the first and only watch to have been to the Moon. Equipped with the famous caliber 321 designed by Albert Piguet for Lemania, this watch was selected by NASA in 1962 and qualified for space missions in 1965. On July 21, 1969 at 2.56 GMT, the Speedmaster achieved this feat. This model features a rare decimal bezel and is nicknamed "MoonWatch II", with its asymmetrical case that better protects the crown and pushers, the caliber 321 and the "Professional" label, which arrived in 1965 as a nod to NASA's use of the watch as a tool carried by its "super-professionals".
