OMEGA Speedmaster 125 - Reference 178.0002. Steel bracelet chronograph with automatic winding. Brushed steel tonneau case, smooth bezel, graduated internal tachometric scale, fluted crown, round push-pieces, screw-down caseback with Speedmaster medallion with seahorse. Dial: grey, painted luminescent ivory patina baton hour markers, painted white baton minute track, white baton hands with luminescent paint, white painted straight hands, date window at 3 o'clock, 12-hour totalizer at 6 o'clock, 24-hour scale at 9 o'clock, white painted central baton chronograph seconds hand, white painted central jet chronograph minute hands, Movement: mechanical self-winding with oscillating weight. Calibre 1041 22 jewels - Numbered: 34684616 (circa 1972). Case, dial and movement signed. Case dimensions: 51 x 42 mm. Integrated Omega steel bracelet with Omega folding clasp - Reference 1221/212. To celebrate the brand's 125th anniversary, Omega is releasing this Speedmaster reference, distinguished by its rarity, with production limited to 2,000 pieces. It stands out above all for its 125 logo on the dial, and for its caliber 1041, an evolution of the 1040 found in Speedmasters from this period. Among its owners was the famous cosmonaut Vladimir Dzhanibekov, who wore it during the Salyut 6 mission.
