OMEGA SpeedSonic F300HZ Lobster - Reference 188.0001. Chronograph bracelet in electronic steel. Barrel case, smooth bezel, black graduated internal tachometric scale, fluted crown, rectangular pushers, screw-down caseback engraved in Seamaster medallion format with seahorse. Grey dial, grey applied baton hour markers with luminescent paint dots at their tips, grey and black baton hands with patinated luminescent paint, white painted central chronograph hand, white painted baton minute track, French day and date window at 3 o'clock, 12-hour totalizer counter at 6 o'clock, 30-minute totalizer counter at 9 o'clock, small seconds at 12 o'clock. Movement: electronic tuning fork. Chronometer-certified 1255 12-jewel caliber. (circa 1974). Case and dial signed. Case dimensions: 34 x 35 mm. Omega steel bracelet with Omega folding clasp - Reference 1212/203. Marketed in 1973, this reference completes the Speedmaster range with the innovative tuning fork caliber. It comes with its original Lobster bracelet, nicknamed by enthusiasts because the links overlap like the tail of the crustacean that inspired the designers. This caliber was produced in 11,900 pieces.
