OMEGA Genève Day-Date Megaquartz 32KHz - Reference 196.0030. Steel quartz wristwatch. Barrel case made by Huguenin Frères (HF hallmark), smooth bezel, fluted crown, screw-down caseback with Omega medallion logo. Grey dial, grey and black applied baton hour-markers enhanced by a dot of luminescent paint at their tips, black painted baton minute track, black baton hands with sand patina luminescent paint, grey central baton seconds, day and date window at 3 o'clock in French. Movement: quartz. Caliber 1310 - Numbered 37481368 (circa 1973). Case, dial and movement signed. Case dimensions: 39 x 44 mm. Leather strap with Omega buckle. The first quartz caliber marketed by Omega, the 1310 Fourmi was also the first Swiss quartz movement produced in quantity. This quartz movement was certainly the best quartz caliber in the world at the time. The distinctive sign of the electronic and quartz models is the logo with a red background.
