OMEGA Seamaster "Megaquartz 32 KHz" NOS - Reference 196.0023. Steel quartz wristwatch. Steel tonneau case, smooth bezel, fluted crown, screw-down caseback. Blue dial, grey applied hour markers enhanced by a dot of luminescent paint, white painted baton minute track, luminescent patinated baton hands, day and date window at 3 o'clock in French, applied logo. Movement: quartz. Calibre 1310 Fourmi 8 rubies - Numbered 37491699 (circa 1973). Case, dial and movement signed. Case dimensions: 40 x 46 mm. Leather strap with Omega buckle. The first quartz caliber marketed by Omega, the 1310 Fourmi was also the first Swiss quartz movement produced in quantity. This quartz movement was certainly the best quartz caliber in the world at the time. The distinctive sign of the quartz and electronic models is the red logo.
