OMEGA De Ville Automatic Carré Arrondi - Reference 166.075. Steel wristwatch with automatic winding. Rounded square steel case, brushed bezel, fluted crown, clipped caseback. Blue dial, gray baguette hour markers with a dot of luminescent patina paint at their tips, painted white baton minute track, white baton hands with luminescent paint highlights, black arrow center second hand, date window at 3 o'clock, applied logo. Case, dial and movement signed. Movement: mechanical self-winding with oscillating weight. Caliber 1002 - Numbered 29007686 (circa 1969). Case dimensions: 33 x 33 mm. Omega leather strap with Omega buckle. To guarantee water-resistance, this reference features a case back with a bayonet system. Based on the way soldiers attach blades to the end of their weapons, the caseback can be removed by rotating it through 12°. This advanced device required special tools to open, and was patented by the brand on March 11, 1975.
