OMEGA Constellation F300Hz - Reference 198.0038. Electronic steel wristwatch. Octagonal case, fluted bezel, fluted crown, screw-down caseback with Constellation medallion logo with observatory. Gray TV format dial with black border, applied gray baton hour markers enhanced by a dot of patinated luminescent paint at their tips, painted gray baton minute track, black baton hands with patinated luminescent paint, gray baton central seconds, date window at 3 o'clock, applied logo. Movement: electronic tuning fork. Calibre 1250 Mosaba 12 jewels Chronometer-certified - Numbered 36929818 (circa 1973). Case and dial signed. Case dimensions: 39 mm. Integrated Omega steel bracelet with Omega folding clasp. In order to use the tuning fork technology in its watches, Omega must have the rights, which are owned by Bulova. This technology was developed in order to design a new type of battery-operated movement with a level of precision surpassing that of mechanical calibers, which at the time was groundbreaking. In the photo of this watch's caliber, we can see the two tuning fork coils vibrating 300 times per second and the mention of the American brand.
