OMEGA Constellation MegaQuartz TV Dial - Reference 196.0016. Steel quartz wristwatch. Barrel case, smooth bezel, fluted crown, screw-down caseback engraved in medallion format with the Constellation logo. TV format dark gray dial, applied gray and black baton hour markers with a dot of luminescent patina paint, painted white baton minute track, gray baton hands with luminescent patina paint, gray arrow center second hand, day and date window in German at 3 o'clock, applied logo. Movement: quartz. Caliber 1310 - Numbered 35875367 (circa 1972). Case, dial and movement signed. Case dimensions: 37.5 x 41 mm. Integrated Omega bracelet with Omega folding clasp - Reference 1213/202. The first quartz caliber marketed by Omega, the 1310 Fourmi was also the first Swiss quartz movement produced in quantity. This quartz movement was certainly the best quartz caliber in the world at the time. A distinctive feature of the electronic and quartz models was the red logo. This Constellation reference was one of the highlights of the 1973 / 1974 collections.
