As the CITES certificate has not yet been obtained, the sale of this work has been postponed until May 19, 2025. CLÉMENT MÈRE (1861-1940) Very precious spherical pot with fixed lid. The ivory base, very finely sculpted with vertical pebbled reserves, has a polychrome, brown and red patina and is set with small domed silver silver cabochons evoking flower hearts. The fixed top, grip and scalloped collar are executed in silver. Circa 1910-1920. Signed C. MÈRE, in raised red engraving under the base. Gross weight: 133 grams, 925°/00. H_6 cm D_5.8 cm, small dents and dings on the silver part of the top. Expert: Mr. Emmanuel Eyraud.
