This vase model is inspired by the blue-white porcelain vases of the early Ming period.
This model can be decorated with three, six and up to ten different fruits and flowers.
Qianlong-period craftsmen strove to imitate the "heaping and piling" typical of Yongle and Xuande blue-whites, adding dotted brushwork in the darker parts of the motifs.
This effect is clearly visible on our vase.
