First edition of this work on the art of Porcelain by Le comte de Milly (1728-1784), a French nobleman and man of science who brought back from his stay in Germany this very detailed work on the manufacture of Saxon porcelain, which the Académie deemed worthy of publication in its collection des arts. This treatise led to the creation of the Sèvres manufactures. A fine copy. Very rare.
