Enriched with one hundred and one plates of figures in intaglio to facilitate understanding, to which is attached a notice of the most famous architects, engineers, painters, sculptors, engravers and other artists whose principal works are reported, in Paris, by the associated booksellers in 1770.

Rare first edition of this sum devoted to architecture.
The 100 plates (numbered I to IC and one plate LXI (bis)) are incredibly fresh. They are devoted to the theater of Metz, the different types of architecture: Tuscan, Ionic, Corinthian, Roman or composite order; present series of ornaments, doors, columns, pilasters, interlacing, guilloches, bosses, balustrades, tools, knots, examples of fortifications, and a whole series of signatures of painters and engravers.
