Cours d'architecture which includes Vignole's orders, with comments, figures and descriptions of his most beautiful buildings and those of Michelangelo, instructions and precepts and several new drawings concerning distribution and decoration, the material and construction of buildings, masonry, carpentry, roofing, locksmithing, joinery, gardening and generally everything concerning the art of building. Enriched with new plates, revised and enlarged with several drawings in line with current usage and a large number of remarks by Mariette. Fort in-4 in full contemporary calf with frontispiece, XXXVIII, (10), 408 pages and (40) table. Extensively illustrated, with over 160 engraved plates (83 plates out of text and 82 plates in text). Ex-libris of Boisset Glassac. Very fresh interior. Corners dulled, spines weakened.
