A large in-4 volume in contemporary full parchment, with (14), 964 pages, and (84) table.
Second edition, virtually identical to the 1605 original. Guy Coquille (1523-1603) was a jurisconsult and lawyer, Attorney General of the Duchy of Nevers. His commentary on custom therefore appears after his death.
Stained vellum. Worm work in margins on a few leaves. Ink stamp of the Abbeville library on the title page. Rare.
