Two volumes in-4, half-bassane, I: 1 filled map, XL-204 pp. with 39 plates hors texte, and II: 260 pp. with (4) 79 plates hors texte. First edition of this reference work on the history of the Nivernais region, richly illustrated with 119 out-of-text lithographs, including a large filled-in map entitled "Vue et plan de Nevers". Table of principal localities in the Nivernois region and list of subscribers at the end of Volume II. Pleasant copies. Binding of volume II weakened. Scattered brown spots but no major damage to text or plates.
