NIVERNAIS. Atlas des cartes cantonales du département de la Nièvre, 1/40,000 scale, drawn up by the Service ordinaire des ponts et chaussés in charge of the vicinal service, Nevers, Achille Mazeron, 1878. One full-sized volume, bound in period green chagrin, with (1) table, a map of Nevers, then 25 colored maps of the various cantons, mounted on tabs. The map of Nevers signed by Achille Mazeron, and dated 1878, makes this copy a special one, as it is commonly absent from copies of this edition. Binding rubbed, covers worn. Slight tear on the map of Nevers.
