BULOVA. Oceanographer "Devil Diver", no. 3-354804. Circa 1970. Diving wristwatch in steel. Barrel case, graduated rotating bezel, screw-down caseback, signed. Black dial, luminescent hour markers and hands, central second hand, date window, signed. Automatic movement. Diam. 40 mm. Provenance: Amateur collection. Launched in the 1970s, the Oceanographer is the must-have diver in the Bulova collection. Still in the brand's catalog, this model was nicknamed "devil diver" by enthusiasts because of the "666 feets" on its dial. Water-resistant to a depth of 200 meters, this watch is ideal for non-professional scuba diving and freediving. CONDITION REPORT (indicative) : Movement operational at time of catalog writing.
