IWC. Da Vinci Perpetual Calendar, ref. IW375803, no. 081. Circa 2005. Wristwatch in 18k (750) white gold with chronograph, perpetual calendar and moon phases. Round case, "mushroom" pushers, mobile handles, signed. White dial, applied "baton" hour markers, luminescent hands and studs, 4 subdials for calendar, chronograph function and moon-phase indication, aperture between 7 and 8 o'clock for year indication, signed. Automatic movement, signed. Gold pin buckle, signed. Diam. 41.5 mm. Gross weight: 92.50 g. With IWC booklet, travel pouch, setting stylus. Provenance: Amateur collection. Launched in 1985 at the Basel Fair, the Da Vinci perpetual calendar revolutionized the ease of use of this complication. A single crown centralizes all calendar settings, simplifying date setting.
