PATEK PHILIPPE. Calatrava, ref. 2573/2, no. 793365 / 429676. Circa 1960. Wristwatch in 18k (750) yellow gold. Round case, clipped back, signed. Silvered dial, applied baton hour markers, off-center second hand, signed. Mechanical movement, signed. Diameter: 33 mm. Gross weight: 29.00 g. Launched in the 1950s, reference 2573 stands out from the original Calatrava model thanks to its case resized to 33 mm from the original 31 mm. Bearing the key of the Eggly and Cie company, known for having produced the cases of the Calatrava 2407 and 1595 for Patek Philippe, this vintage model is stamped with the hallmark of Geneva.
