The Polerouter holds a special place in the history of modern watchmaking, as it was the first watch designed by Gerald Genta.
Created in 1954 for the pilots of Scandinavian Airlines Systems, this model is equipped with a "bumper" movement, indisputably the best of its time.
CONDITION REPORT (for information only):
Movement operational at time of catalog writing. Some signs of use and scratches. Dial well preserved, nice patina. Case with signs of wear: reference and serial number illegible (wear). Watchmaker's markings visible on caseback. Overhaul recommended. Please note that all watches are sold as is. No warranty on function. Watches have been opened to identify movement type and quality, including water-resistant watches, so purchasers are advised to consult a watchmaker to review the watch's water-resistance.
