With autograph letter signed on first page: "Pour David Beccaria, l'amitié depuis 20 ans". Provenance: former David Beccaria collection, Nice. David Beccaria ran an ice-cream shop at 2 Cours Saleya, frequented by artists, particularly those of the Ecole de Nice. An enthusiastic and highly regarded artist, he built up an important collection of works by his contemporaries.
