Large planter.
Polychrome enameled stoneware proof - beige, brown - with rich green drips at the neck.
Signed and dated JEANNENEY 1900, it bears a possible exhibition label (Paris, 1900?) with a handwritten note in ink 368 below the base.
H. 24.5 cm - D. 30.5 cm
Provenance :
From a very important decoration made around 1900-1910 for the Rétif family estate (horse-drawn carriage factory) in the Cher region, which was visited by many artists from the owners' circle of friends.
